Spencer Young | President

Spencer has been with RMR since the grand opening in March 1997. It is because of Spencer that RMR exists today. In a nutshell, his responsibilities include investment and operations management. Although he has never owned or operated venues for motor sports before, he has sponsored many race cars. Spencer took what was previously known as Bonneville Raceway, and with a little magic (and a lot of money), managed to turn it in to the state-of-the-art motor sports facility we all know as Rocky Mountain Raceways.

Mike Eames | General Manager

Mike has been raised around the automotive and race industry his entire life. His first job was at Bonneville Raceways at the age of 11, handing out ET slips while his dad ran the Drag Strip. Mike has been the Drag Strip announcer for Rocky Mountain Raceways since the 2004 season. He loves all types of racing but his biggest love is the New York Yankees. He recently had 9 years under his belt at The Standard Examiner before taking over his dream job, the new General Manager of Rocky Mountain Raceways.

Ron Craft | Drag Strip Manager

Ron Craft started drag racing in 1964, participating in the Stock and Super Stock classes. He moved on to manage Bonneville Raceway from 1970 to 1980, also flagging the oval track from 1970 to 1984. After leaving Bonneville, Ron was the foreman for Amcor Pipe. He has managed many private clubs in the Salt Lake area as well as managing many automotive warehouses. He then returned to RMR as the new Head Flagman, and took over as Drag Strip Manager on May 1, 1999.

Curt Stewart | Motocross Manager

Curt has a wide range of experience in the motorsports arena as a mechanic and as a driver. He has raced mountain bikes, motocross, sand drags, and his very own 1976 Vega on the drag strip at Rocky Mountain Raceways. He has also worked as a professional crew member for Top Fuel Funny Cars and Dragsters. Curt owned and managed his first company at the young age of 22.  He loves working on hot rods and modifying/restoring anything with an engine.

Dan Breach | Oval Track Manager

Dan comes from a oval racing family and basically grew up at the race track.  He has worked every position possible from selling programs at the age of 8 to being the race director not only for a race track but several traveling Series as well.  He also raced cars for 12 years before moving into officiating. Dan was heavily involved in a non profit racer run corporation called Western Idaho Racing Association whose duties included points, purse distribution, rules and charity work as the five time President and 20 years as an executive Board member.  Most recently he was the Series Director for the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series and the Series Administrator for the Western Winged Sprintcars.  Dan also worked for the Albertsons Corporate office for 23 years before relocating to Salt Lake in 2013.
