Adding to the excitement of its special 20th anniversary season, Rocky Mountain Raceways will incorporate a new element to the America First Credit Union Super Oval when the season begins next month.
The contest is being called “Track Attack.”
Using their own vehicles, participants will race against the clock as well as against other racing enthusiasts to see who can post the best overall times on the 3/8-mile AFCU Super Oval. Each race night, five cars will run four laps, alone, on the oval. Time will be kept for the four laps combined and the best time will be declared the winner.

At the end of the season the nightly winners, plus a few of the fastest non-winning competitors, will be brought back for a race-off for cash and prizes.
“We feel like Track Attack will give our fans an opportunity to experience a little bit of what our drivers go through every Saturday night,” said Dan Breach, RMR’s oval track manager.
Cost to participate in Track Attack is $50, which includes a pit pass and rental of a Raceiver communication system.
