Breach to Take the Helm of the America First Credit Union Super Oval

01 Feb

Rocky Mountain Raceways, an ASA Member Track, is proud to welcome Dan Breach as the new Oval Track Manager for the America First Credit Union Super Oval. Breach will start in March, 2013.

For the past two years, Gary Madsen managed the America First Credit Union Super Oval after a storied oval racing career.

“Gary Madsen did a tremendous job for us the past two seasons.  He is a true friend and I will miss not having him at the track for each event.  I cannot fault his reason for stepping aside.  I was horrified at replacing him.  It is really hard to find really great people that are also the right fit,” says Mike Eames, Rocky Mountain Raceways General Manager.

Breach has an extensive history with oval racing that dates back to when he was five years old at Meridian Speedway in Meridian, Idaho. His accomplishments in and out of race cars include multiple sportsman of the year awards and a spot in the Western Idaho Racing Association Hall of Fame (2006.)

For the last 8 years, Breach has officiated for the CarbonX Rocky Mountain Challenge Series Late Models. He has served as the Race Director for Meridian Speedway and helped the Intermountain Pro 4 Series and the Super Modified Racing Association.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to work with the first class organization and staff at Rocky Mountain Raceways.  I feel that RMR is one of the cleanest, fastest and well run tracks that I have had the pleasure of visiting,” says Breach. “I want to thank Mike Eames for the chance to advance my career in the auto-racing business. I look forward to providing a great experience for the fans and racers that attend RMR in the future.”

“Dan Breach will step right in and continue to take us in the direction that Gary had us headed.  I feel so very fortunate that I was able to bring someone of Dan’s quality into our team.  Dan brings a boat load of experience to the track.  I look forward to him starting in March,” says Eames.
